Dr. Harris's clinical research interests are diverse. They include psychiatric medicine and mechanisms leading to psychiatric disorders, substance abuse, addiction, sleep disorders and cultural attitudes toward psychiatric disorders.
Dr. Harris received his doctorate of medicine from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Missouri Columbia. He has authored numerous scientific abstracts dealing with psychiatric disorders and journal articles and lectures.
Dr. Harris is the founder of the attention deficit center located in Provo Utah and has been instrumental in researching and treating ADHD and ADD disorders. This organization seeks to achieve highest medical standards, improve access to proper care, and educate about psychiatric disorders and related scientific and social issues surrounding them.
Dr. Harris is also co-founder of Aspen Clinical Research Located in Lindon Utah and has conducted extensive Phase II-IV research and recently more in the phase I arena dealing with psychiatric and sleep medicines.
